Project Description: Replacement of 1,270’ of failing timber fender system at the northwestern face of Pier 91 (Berths J, K, L & M) with a steel fender system.

• Demolish and dispose of existing fender system complete
• Remove and dispose of existing fender piles complete
• Provide and install new galvanized steel fender piles
• Provide and install HDPE jackets on all new piles
• Provide and install new fender system complete
• Provide coatings

Subcontract opportunities include, but are not limited to; Diving; Trucking and Disposal, Surveying; Supply of Fabricated Metals; Supply of Piling; Coating; Environmental & Erosion Control Monitoring, and other scopes.

WMBE Utilization Goal of 3%

Pacific Pile & Marine (PPM), intends to negotiate in good faith with all certified WBE and MBE firms to encourage participation, including tailoring packages to better fit firms’ capabilities. Please contact us regarding any assistance needed with this solicitation including obtaining bonding, insurance requirements, lines of credit, necessary equipment, badging, and materials/supplies.
