One-Stop Center Operator

RFP# WIOA-ONE-STOP OPERATOR – 3-3-2021

 

WorkForce Central issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) on behalf of the Pierce County Workforce Development Council and Chief Local Elected Officials to identify and select a qualified individual or organization to serve as the One-Stop Operator for the WorkSource Pierce One-Stop Center, located at 2121 South State Street, Tacoma, WA 98402. The selected One-Stop Operator will be a servant leader who works collaboratively with WorkForce Central and WorkSource Pierce One-Stop Center partners to create an integrated and productive space where excellent customer experience is the focus and center of all activity. They will provide operational oversight and functional leadership with a commitment to equity and access, partnership orientation, diplomacy, unbiased approach with all stakeholders, and knowledge of local needs and resources.

The One-Stop Operator will be funded by Department of Labor federal funds under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). For planning purposes, bidders should estimate WIOA funding of up to $150,000 for the funding period of July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022.

  • Required Notification of Intent to Bid Due: March 31, 2021
  • Proposal Package Due: April 14, 2021
  • Initial Funding Period: July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022

(potential annual extension through June 30, 2025)

Potential bidders are invited to an optional Bidders’ Conference on March 18, 2021, 1:30-3:00 PM to ask questions about the RFP and proposal requirements. To attend, please request an Outlook meeting invitation with the Zoom meeting link by emailing procurement@workforce-central.org, with “RFP# WIOA-ONE-STOP OPERATOR – 3-3-2021” in the subject line. Questions are welcome via the same email address until March 30, 2021.
