Project Description: The Ferrucci Junior High School Addition and Remodel Work scope will occur at the existing school on the current Ferrucci Junior High School site in the city of Puyallup, Washington. The summary of the work includes, but is not limited to, building a new steel framed classroom addition containing 10 classrooms and support spaces and the expansion of the Commons. The remodel work will consist of reconfiguring the Administration suite and Kitchen Servery. Other work will include updating some of the finishes in existing hallways and making the connection to the new additions.

The site work scope consists of civil and landscape improvements immediately around the existing building to build new bus drop-off and parent drop-off loops, and expansion of the existing stormwater treatment pond on the south side of the building. All work is base bid except for additive Alternate #1 for addition of an athletic storage shed at the fields, additive Alternate #2 for additional wood wainscot in existing hallways, additive Alternate #3 for additional new ceiling grid/tile/lights in existing hallways, and additive Alternate #4 for replacing the A/V equipment in the existing Commons, Gymnasium, and Aux Gymnasium. New building materials are steel framing, lower exterior veneer brick, upper cement fiberboard panels, and PVC membrane roofing.
