BID NOTICE

The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma will receive sealed bids for Bid # J2021-08, Point Defiance Sanitary Sewer Lift Station, at the office of Planning, Design & Development, Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma, 4702 S 19th Street, Tacoma WA  98405 until 10.00 a.m., dayMay month/date27, 2021.  Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 10:05 a.m. via zoom. https://zoom.us/j/98508483679?pwd=dkJSeWxlM0FXRnhmZ1NxYVp4UWQ0dz09

Bids received after the appointed time set for receipt will be returned unopened.

The project includes, but is not limited to:  The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma (Metro Parks) Point Defiance Lift Station Improvements consists of the replacement of existing pumps, rehabbing the existing station, site work related to moving the existing electrical equipment to an above-grade location, and the addition of a level-sensing transducer.

Prevailing Wage Rates and the Metro Parks Tacoma Apprenticeship Training Program requirements will apply.  # of hours1177 177 apprentice hours are estimated for this project.

Minority & Women Owned Enterprises (MWBE) participation will apply.

Metro Parks Tacoma encourages an MWBE goal of eight percent (8%) on a Public Works PROJECT ESTIMATED AT $20,000.00 OR MORE including Subcontractors: The Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) certifies firms that are owned and controlled by minorities or women, and can provide information regarding the certification process. The base bid estimate range is $375,000 - $425,000.  Time of completion is 150 calendar days.
