CITY OF WINLOCK

2021 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE BASE BID $500,000

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Winlock, City Hall, 323 NE First Street, Winlock, Washington 98596, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct 2021 Water System Improvements.

The Project will consist of replacing approximately 3,520 feet of galvanized water mains and 470 feet of galvanized water services on seven streets throughout the City’s water service area, including 2-inch poly main, 4-inch PVC C900 main, 6-inch PVC C900 main, water services, and surface restoration.  Three additive bid schedules (A, B, and C) include replacement of approximately 1,275 feet of galvanized water mains and 150 feet of galvanized water services on four additional streets, including 2-inch poly main and 6 inch PVC C900 main, water services and surface restoration.

The Work shall be substantially complete within 55 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Winlock, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.  All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “City of Winlock” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.

All work performed on this project will subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates.
