Scope: Construct a new 14" influent force main, new submersible pump station to serve West Sultan, new headworks facility, new oxidation ditch with selector zones, two new aerobic digesters with digested sludge pumps, new secondary clarifier splitter box, new circular secondary clarifier with return activated and waste activated pump station, new effluent flow meter, new 12” outfall into Skykomish River, new solids handling building with a dewatering screw press and sludge haul truck loading bay, new odor control system, new standby generator, and new electrical service. Work includes modifications to existing oxidation ditch to incorporate fine bubble aeration and new internal recycle pump, modifications to two existing secondary clarifiers including new return activated and waste activated sludge pump stations, modifications to existing equipment building including new electrical room and installation of new aeration blowers for oxidation ditches and aerobic digesters, and modifications to existing aerobic sludge holding tank. Construct modifications to existing headworks structure including demolition of existing screw pumps, installation of new non-potable water pumps and effluent pumps, and conversion of existing aerated grit chamber into a selector zone for existing oxidation ditch.
