Project Description: The purpose of this Project is to remove the existing barriers to fish passage at two locations along SR 20 and replace removed barriers with fish passable structures. The Project’s critical improvements shall provide fish-passable water crossing structures in fish passage restricted areas to mimic natural stream processes and incorporate elements of stream restoration to maximize stream function through the inclusion of natural stream elements. The Project’s work shall be conducted and performed in such a manner as to minimize adverse impacts to the public while and maximize transparency and communication with local communities.
Subcontractor Opportunities Include: engineering design, permit acquisition, utility relocation, soil nails, soldier pile, sawcutting, landscaping, traffic control, trucking, HMA & concrete paving, signage, guardrail, TESC, slope protection, demolition, rebar, earthwork, fencing, painting, sweeping, striping, drainage, electrical/intelligent transportation systems, large woody material installation, creek channel grading, and more.
