The Washington State Board of Pilotage Commissioners (BPC) is making a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified individuals, companies, or organizations for the purposes of developing, validating, administering, grading, scoring, ranking, and defending a written examination and simulator evaluation. The finished product will consist of a written examination and a simulator evaluation that will be given sometime on or after April 2, 2024. The written examination and simulator evaluation must be developed in accordance with the applicable sections of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) https://apps.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=363-116 and Revised Code of Washington (RCW) https://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=88.16.
