MACFARLAND PARK PICKLEBALL COURT, City Project No. 2231

BID OPENING: Tuesday March 07, 2023 TIME: 10:00 a.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for construction of the MacFarland Park Pickleball Court will be received by the City of Enumclaw at City Hall at 1339 Griffin Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022 on or before 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 7, 2023. Bids will be opened, read, and tabulated immediately following. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Bids are to be submitted only in the form provided in the Contract Documents. A bid guaranty is required of not less than 5% of the total base bid in the form of a bond or certified check, payable to the City of Enumclaw. A performance and one year maintenance guaranty in an amount of 100% of construction cost will be required of the successful bidder. The City expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor informalities. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.

The scope of improvements includes the construction of a steel reinforced cement concrete slab and striping of such for two pickleball courts. Includes a net for each court. Note: no special acrylic coating is called out for this court, only striping.

The public bid opening will be held at the City of Enumclaw council chambers at City Hall at 1339 Griffin Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022. Bid results will also be posted on the Builders Exchange website shortly after bid opening.

Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com, Posted Projects, Public Works, City of Enumclaw. He may be reached by phone at (360) 615-5723 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No response will be made to questions unless they are submitted in writing.

Project cost is estimated to range between $70,000 and $170,000.
