Active Construction is soliciting for bids from MBE, WBE, and SBE vendors for work on the Links to Opportunity – Streetscape - Bid Package 3 project for the City of Tacoma. This project currently bids on April 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM PST.

This project provides for the improvement of infrastructure in the Hilltop District on MLK Jr Way from 6th Avenue to Earnest S. Brazill Street. The project generally includes removal and replacement of cement concrete sidewalks, decorative pavers, sand blasted banding in sidewalk, pedestrian level street lighting, sidewalk furniture, bicycle facilities, signage, landscaping, and other Work necessary to complete the project all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

The scopes we are looking for bids/quotes on are traffic control, demo, clearing and grubbing, paving, landscaping, striping, electrical, concrete flatwork, pipe supply, concrete supply, aggregate supply and delivery, rental trucking, sawcutting, survey, vac truck, tv inspection, pipeline jetting, erosion control, masonry paving, urban design amenities, site furnishings, railing, and sandblasting. This project has a MBE COA Goal of 10%, WBE COA Goal of 8%, and a SBE COA Goal of 14%.
