Port of Edmonds Request for engineering proposals:
Breakwater construction documents and permitting Project No. 2023-456

Due Date:  Proposals for this project will be received at the Port of Edmonds Administration Office, 336 Admiral Way, Edmonds, WA  98020 until 11:00 AM, Friday, July 7, 2023.  Any proposals received after the specified time and date will not be considered.  Proposals may also be emailed to breakwater@portofedmonds.org It is the proposer’s responsibility to confirm submittal has been received.

Scope of Work:  The scope of work includes providing labor, materials and equipment necessary to: prepare plans, drawings, documents and plan notes for breakwater repairs as per specifications. Submit for permit and track progress through to completion, support with technical questions during the bidding process.

Pre-Bid Meeting:  A pre-bid meeting is scheduled is not scheduled for this project. Please submit all questions by no later than 10am, June 30, 2023 to breakwater@portofedmonds.org . If a site visit is requested, staff may coordinate via an emailed request but will need to occur before June 30, 2023 10am. No guarantees are made for staff availability.

Work Start & Completion Dates:  Work shall be substantially complete by December 31, 2023, permit availability dependent.  Work may begin when the Port receives the signed contract, insurance documentation, IRS W-9. Work is expected to begin immediately upon the contract award.

Insurance:  Commercial General Liability, Business Auto, Worker’s Comp, and Employer’s Liability (Stop Gap), professional liability insurance coverage will be required for this project.

Obtaining proposal package:  Project proposal documents will be available starting Friday June 23, 2023 at bxwa.com under Port of Edmonds, goods and services.
