ON CALL CONSTRUCTION SPECIAL INSPECTIONS

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to assist SHA in consultants who wish to be evaluated and considered to provide an indefinite-quantity of Construction Special Inspections Services on an On-Call basis.  SHA may select two qualified consultants to assist SHA in providing structural observation and special inspections services.  Consultants involved in this work are required to have experience and demonstrate expertise in the specialized areas necessary to accomplish the services required.

Pre-Submission Conference:  SHA will hold a Pre-Submission Conference on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 3:00pm, and potential proposers can join the MS Teams Meeting by dialing (audio only) 1-206-257-3799 and entering the Conference ID number.  If you have MS Teams and would like to join the meeting virtually, please e-mail Veronica Sharp, Design and Construction Contract Administrator at purchasing@seattlehousing.org and you will be sent an invitation to join.

Obtaining the RFP:  Visit our website at http://www.seattlehousing.org/business/consulting/requests to obtain a copy of the RFP.  Any addenda issued for this RFP will be published at the above-referenced website and proposers are responsible for checking the website prior to submission of proposals for any addenda.  If you are unable to download the RFP or addenda, you may e-mail Veronica Sharp, Design and Construction Contract Administrator at purchasing@seattlehousing.org.

Questions:  Any questions or requests for further information must be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, to the Contract Administrator noted above by e-mail at purchasing@seattlehousing.org.

Submission Deadline:  Proposals must be received not later than 2:00 PM on Monday, August 21, 2023, submitted to the email address noted above.

Email submittal preferred but mailed submittals accepted. Mailed proposals may be sent by U.S. Mail and should be addressed to the P.O. Box below and must be delivered to SHA by the deadline stated above. Faxed submittals will not be accepted.
