Notice: State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Advisors
Until: September 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
Seattle Public Schools (the District) is requesting proposals from pre-qualified firms interested in providing professional State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) reviews of Capital Construction and Planning projects. Required services will include:
- Review SEPA documents;
- Meet with district staff and consultants;
- Review comments from the public;
- Make threshold determinations including mitigating measures;
- Designate preparation of any required environmental impact statement (EIS); and
- Perform any other functions assigned to the “lead agency.”
The District intends to immediately engage pre-qualified firms interested in submitting proposals with appropriate experience to advise SEPA processes. Consistent with RCW 39.80.040 Seattle Public Schools desires to ensure that minority and women-owned firms and veteran-owned firms are afforded the maximum practicable opportunity to compete for and obtain public contracts for services. The level of participation by minority and women-owned firms and veteran-owned firms shall be consistent with their general availability within the professional communities involved.
