Deer Path Tank Project
Notice is hereby given that Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County (KPUD) will receive sealed bid proposals for the Deer Path Tank Project on March 12, 2024 until 1:00 p.m., at the KPUD Administrative Offices, located at 1431 Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo, Washington 98370. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter at the Finn Hill Road location. Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and appurtenances required for demolition of the existing northeast concrete tank and construction of a larger 34’-tall, 50’-diameter concrete tank at the Deer Path Lane site on the South Bainbridge Water System. This will include installation of approximately 146’ of 8” DI pipe, stormwater appurtenances for the new tank, security fencing, and other work as detailed in the plans and specifications. Plans and specifications are on file at Kitsap PUD, 1431 Finn Hill Road, (P.O. Box 1989), Poulsbo, WA 98370, copies may be obtained at a non-refundable cost of $150 each between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday or by appointment. Each Bid Proposal shall conform to the requirements of Section 1-02.9 of the Contract Special Provisions. Bids shall be made out on the bid form furnished with the specifications. A 5% bid guarantee is required in the form of certified or cashier’s check, or surety bond in accordance with the contract specifications. Contractor must be licensed to conduct business in the State of Washington. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. KPUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding in accordance with the specifications.
