2024-474 Boatyard General Permit and Marina Environmental Consulting
Due Date: Qualifications from environmental engineering firms for this project will be received at the Port of Edmonds Administration Office, 471 Admiral Way, Edmonds, WA 98020 until 11:00 AM, March 5, 2024. Any proposals received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Proposals may also be emailed to boartyard@portofedmonds.org It is the proposer’s responsibility to confirm submittal has been received.
Scope of Work: The scope of work includes providing labor, materials and equipment necessary to: provide engineering and consulting services related to stormwater management, compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Boatyard General Permit, and other marina environmental issues on an as requested basis. The base expectations and requested services are detailed in the packet, but additional environmental consulting may be requested throughout the year. The project period will be one year from the contract award date, with the option for extension.
NO Pre-Bid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled for this project. Please submit all questions by no later than February 29, 2024 10 am to boatyard@portofedmonds.org . No guarantees are made for staff availability. Interested parties may self tour the facility. The boardwalk area being addressed is open to the public at all times. See the packet slide deck.
Work Start & Completion Dates: Work shall be substantially complete upon an agreed schedule for each project assigned, and completed by end of one year after award. Work may begin when the Port receives the signed contract, insurance documentation, IRS W-9. Work is expected to begin immediately upon the contract award.
Insurance: Commercial General Liability, Business Auto, Worker’s Comp, and Employer’s Liability (Stop Gap), professional liability insurance coverage will be required for this project. (USL&H as applicable if at all)

Obtaining proposal package: Project proposal documents will be available starting by end of day Friday, February 23, 2024 at bxwa.com under Port of Edmonds, goods and services.
Questions and Addendums: Answers to emailed written questions received (no verbal conversations) may be posted as addendums on the project page at bxwa.com no later than March 1, 2024.
