PORT OF WHITMAN COUNTY

The Port of Whitman County (Port) is requesting bids for 23-001-CF_Rail, Central Ferry Site F Rail in Whitman County, WA.  The project will consist of the construction of new railway spurs.  The project will consist of the construction of new railway spurs that total approximately 1,417 lineal feet as noted on the plan sheets and specifications. Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024, on the online portal at https://mrscrosters.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/138297. All relevant project information including plans and specifications can be found in the Files on the online portal.

It shall be the submitters responsibility to ensure that proposals are submitted prior to the deadline.

The bids will be opened publicly via an online meeting and read aloud immediately following the specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder. The Port reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. The Port encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.

The Port of Whitman County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
