Port of Edmonds Request for Bids Harbor Square Asphalt Repair 2024 | Project No. 2024-496

Bid Due Date:  Sealed bids for this project will be received at the Port of Edmonds Administration Office, 471 Admiral Way, Edmonds, WA  98020 until 11:00 AM, July 9, 2024.  Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.  Official time is read from the designated official clock at the Port of Edmonds Administration office where the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.

Scope of Work:  The scope of work includes providing labor, materials and equipment necessary to: Remove and replace damaged asphalt marked in the Harbor Square Business Complex parking lot and roadway as per specifications.

Pre-Bid Meeting:  A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10.30 a.m. on July 1, 2024, at the leasing office,120 W. Dayton suite B-6, Edmonds, WA  98020.  Port staff and its agents may not be available for site visits outside of the scheduled pre-bid meeting. It is strongly encouraged prospective bidders attend the walkthrough pre-bid meeting.

Work Start & Completion Dates:  Work shall be substantially complete by September 27, 2024.  Work may begin when the Port receives the signed contract, performance bond, payment bond, insurance documentation, IRS W-9, and list of any subcontractors. 

Prevailing Wages:  Payment of prevailing wages is required for this project. Filings of statement of intent, and affidavit of wages paid online with LNI will be required.

Bid Guarantee and Performance & Payment Bonds:  Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of five (5) percent of the total base bid plus Washington sales tax, with a bid bond (or a check made payable to the Port of Edmonds- bond encouraged). In addition, the successful Bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Contract, as a requirement to enter into a contract for the work.

Insurance:  Commercial General Liability, Business Auto, Worker’s Comp, and Employer’s Liability (Stop Gap) insurance coverage will be required for this project.

Right to Reject Bids:  The Port of Edmonds reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities.

Advertisement:  Bids shall be solicited from qualified Contractors and General Contractors on the Port of Edmonds’ MRSC Small Works Roster and advertised in the Everett Herald.
