INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Issaquah School District No. 411, 5150 220TH Avenue SE, Issaquah, Washington 98029, for ISSAQUAH SCHOOL DISTRICT BUS CHARGING STATIONS.

Base bids with subcontractors list, if required, on the Form of Proposal, will be received on the Form of Proposal until Tuesday, July 16, 2024, by 10:00 AM, stamped and held. Bids will be opened following the 10:00 AM deadline. Bids deemed late by the Owner will be returned unopened. Each bid and other enclosures shall be enclosed in an opaque, sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the Bidder and addressed to the Owner. Please mark lower left corner of the envelope “Issaquah School District Bus Charging Stations”.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Issaquah School District’s Satellite Transportation Center, located at 3402 228th Avenue SE, Sammamish, WA 98075 on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:30 AM to tour the site, review the scope of work and documents, and answer any questions. All contractors submitting a bid are required to have a representative in attendance at the pre-bid meeting and to sign in on an attendance sheet.

Contractors may obtain digital copies of the contract documents from the Capital Projects Department of the Issaquah School District at 5150 220TH Avenue SE, Issaquah, Washington 98029, (425) 837-7040, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Contractor will be emailed a set of Bid Documents. Bid Documents will be available for pick up on June 20, 2024, if emailing is not an option. Please call-in advance to schedule a pick-up time. Bids Documents may also be delivered as regular mail upon request.

The School District cannot be held liable for delays in the mail service.

General Project Description: Provide all labor, equipment, and material to install bus charging stations for four buses and infrastructure for an additional twelve. Project Estimate: Approximately $460,000.
A Bid Bond is required.
A one hundred percent (100%) contractor’s Performance and Payment Bond; a Public Works Contract (form supplied by Owner); and Certificate(s) and Endorsement(s) of Issuance per the General Terms and Conditions are required before award is final.
The Issaquah School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No bidder may withdraw the bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.
