City of Bellingham Notice to Bidders Sealed proposals for the construction of the 53B-2024 NEIGHBORHOOD OVERLAYS ES-559 project, will be received by the City of Bellingham, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, Washington, 98225 at the Purchasing Office until August 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., and thereafter will be publicly opened and read.

The improvement consists of: Overlay of Flynn Street near Electric Avenue to Decatur Street, Northshore Drive from Hayward Drive to Silver Beach Street, Academy Road from Northshore Drive to City Limits, Sylvan Street from Alabama Street to Silver Beach Avenue, and 40th Street from Mill Avenue to Donovan Avenue and Wildwood Drive to Bennett Ave.
Including watermain replacement on Northshore Avenue, ADA ramp upgrades, and an RRFB on Electric Avenue near Flynn Street.

Price Range: $1,900,000 - $2,200,000

All proposals must be on the Bid Proposal form provided by the City of Bellingham and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, cash, money order or bid bond payable to the Finance Director in an amount equal to or exceeding five percent (5%) of the total bid. No other form of bid security is acceptable. The right is reserved to postpone making the award for a reasonable length of time, to reject any and all bids, or to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights.
