Project Description: The Snohomish Readiness Center, located at 1501 Avenue D in Snohomish, Washington, is a one-story structure constructed in 1953 as a training facility for the Washington Army National Guard (WAARNG). The building is currently occupied by WAARNG's 176th Engineer Company (Vertical). The Project consists of the construction of a 5,500 gsf addition to this facility, the intensive alteration of 2,450 sf of existing space, and the minor alteration of an additional 8,000 sf of existing space. All areas are approximate. The Work of this Project includes associated site development.
1. If Alternate Bid Item No. 1 is accepted by the Owner, Project scope will be amended to include renovation of 2,150 sf of existing space.
2. If Alternate Bid Item No. 2 is accepted by the Owner, Project scope will be amended to include construction of a wood-framed storage room to the base bid addition.
3. If Alternate Bid Item No. 3 is accepted by the Owner, Project scope will be amended to include replacement of fixed wall between classrooms with a paired-panel operable partition.
4. If Alternate Bid Item No. 4 is accepted by the Owner, Project scope will be amended to include abatement of exterior coatings containing hazardous materials
