The promenade walk along the swim beach is experiencing cracking and subsiding, while the support wall/bulkhead for the promenade is being undercut, posing safety concerns and non-compliance with ADA accessibility standards. The primary goal of the project is to ensure public safety, ADA compliance, shoreline and structural integrity, and optimal park and recreational functionality, while adhering to environmental sustainability and regulatory requirements for this Lake Washington site.
