Highmark Concrete Contractors (HCC) is requesting quotes from Subcontractors and Suppliers for the following project: Apple Capital Loop – Component 4/Segment 2C South End Bike/Ped Access Bridges.  This project includes the construction of bridges, approaches and associated site improvements at two locations, one in Wenatchee over BNSF Railway (West Bridge) and one in East Wenatchee over SR28 (East Bridge).  

The West Bridge will consist of a concrete ramp to Hale Park and to the existing W.T. Clark Pipeline Bridge. A 116’ prefabricated steel truss over BNSF rail will connect to a concrete helical ramp to South Columbia Street and Bridge Street. A secondary elevated, pier-supported access ramp will spur off the north side of the new west bridge, terminating along the west side of Hale Skatepark.  

The East Bridge will consist of a pavement and concrete ramp on the Columbia River side of SR28, and two 177’ prefabricated steel trusses over SR 28, landing into the 9 th Street Park Plaza.  All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract plans, special provisions, and the 2025 WSDOT Standard Specifications.

Subcontractor/Supplier Opportunities Include (but are not limited to): clearing & grubbing, erosion control, bird protection and monitoring, structural earth walls, demolition, HMA paving, planing, flatwork and structural concrete, potholing, striping, landscaping, hauling, signage, rebar supply & installation, hydroseeding, guardrails, traffic barriers, pedestrian fence, dewatering, electrical, traffic control, survey; as well as the supply of ready-mix concrete, pipe/utilities, aggregate, and disposal.
