Covington Systemic Safety Pedestrian Improvements Project - CIP 1029
The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of: project design, preparing environmental documentation consistent with NEPA, preparation of advertisement ready Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for the following:
- Install speed feedback signs:
- West of SE 256th St and 156th Ave SE
- East of SE 256th St and 156th Ave SE
- Install asphalt path with extruded curb:
- 180th Ave SE from SE 244th St to existing sidewalk near Covington Community Park
- Install rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB) and marked crosswalk improvements
- 180th Ave SE at SE 244th St
The work includes associated ADA and utility work, pavement marking removal, and sign/post removal, relocation, or replacement as needed. All in accordance with Local Agency Guidelines.
This project has a voluntary 10% SBE goal. The project is federally funded and will be held to Federal EEO requirements.
The City of Covington reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this/these project(s).
