DESC’s Opioid and Recovery Care Access (ORCA) Center is aimed at addressing the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness in our region using an innovative and comprehensive approach combining critical opioid clinical services with on-site support services.  When construction is complete, this site will deliver an opioid clinic, office spaces for DESC’s clinicians and clinical staff, a Day Room for our clients, a large kitchen, two sets of large gender-neutral bathroom spaces for clients, consult rooms, examination rooms, a reception, a laboratory, spaces for nurses and primary care providers, an activity room, a meeting room, quiet rooms, a HIPAA-compliant file room, an expansive open office, a respite room for staff, medical storage room, and a supervisor’s office.
