Now open! Accepting Proposals to run the Office of Developmental Disabilities Ombuds

The Department of Commerce is requesting proposals for those interested in operating the Office of Developmental Disabilities Ombuds (ODDO).

The ODDO is a private, independent office focused on improving the lives of people with developmental disabilities in Washington. The Office carries out services that are determined by Chapter 43.382.005 RCW: Developmental Disabilities Ombuds.

Commerce will award one contract for this program to be operated statewide.

Request For Proposals (RFP) timeline

  • RFP Opens: February 19, 2025
  • Pre-proposal Conference: February 27, 10 a.m. 
  • Q&A period ends: March 4, 2025
  • Proposals due: April 2, 2025, by 5 p.m. PST
  • Period of performance: July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027

Pre-proposal conference: February 27, 2025
