NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

 

Sealed bids for the following Public Works Project will be received until 2:00 p.m. on March 27, 2025, at 600 Capitol Way North, MS: 43158, Olympia, Washington, 98501-1091 and will be publicly opened and read.

Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove existing asphalt, expand and prep subsurface to add new parking and sidewalk, place and compact new asphalt, new curb, new ADA curb ramp, and stripping as shown in the drawings, at the Department's Region 3 Headquarters, located at 1701 S 24th Ave., Yakima, Washington 98902, GPS Coordinates 46.57430, -120.53990, in  Yakima County.

 

Engineer’s Estimate: $140,000

 

No pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled, Contractors are strongly encouraged to independently visit the site.

If the project is estimated at or above one million dollars, a mandatory 15 percent Apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of this contract. The Apprenticeship Utilization Requirements are identified in Section 00100 Instructions To Bidder. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Programs.

 

Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding as prime contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers.
