Whatcom Co; Bid #25-30 Supply of Rock, Gravel, and Soil
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Purchasing at their office in the Administrative Services Finance Department in the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225, for purchase of the following:
SUPPLY OF ROCK, GRAVEL, AND SOIL
UNTIL: 2:30 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2025
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud (live via Zoom). All bidders and any other interested people are invited to be present. Late bids will not be considered.
This bid is to establish a list of suppliers and firm prices for the supply of rock, gravel, and soil for Whatcom County Public Works, Whatcom County Parks & Recreation Department, and other Whatcom County departments as needed.
Award will be made to the lowest and/or best bidder. In the absence of special circumstances, the County will select the supplier submitting the lowest bid price for the specific material item needed. However, under special circumstances, the County may select the supplier or suppliers not submitting the lowest bid, but in consideration of the special circumstances, meeting the County’s requirements for the specified material needed.
