For the following bid packages, sealed bids will be received by the University of Washington through Workday Strategic Sourcing. Bid Forms will be received up to 2:00 p.m. on May 20th, 2025. Bids will then be opened virtually and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. Bids received after the date and hour above stated will not receive consideration.

BONDS:

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid amount is required on all bids exceeding $300,000. All Trade Partners who are awarded a contract over $300,000 shall provide a performance and payment bond for the contract amount.

GLY Construction, Inc, is acting as the construction manager for the University of Washington. For this reason, all rules for public bidding must be followed by the contractors bidding on these packages. Bids must be submitted as indicated in the instruction to bidders. Faxed bids, bids that are not on the proper bid form, and bids that do not fulfill the requirements of the instructions to bidders cannot be accepted. All bids shall remain valid for a period of 90 calendar days.

TRADE UNIONS:

Trade Contractor recognizes GLY has an agreement with the following Unions: Carpenters, Laborers, Cement Masons, and Operating Engineers. In accordance with RCW 39.10.380 Subcontractor Bidding Procedure, Trade Contractors shall be obligated and bound to such agreements for work claimed by the Carpenter, Laborer, Cement Mason, and Operating Engineer Unions.
