WELL NO. 3 IMPROVEMENTS , PHASE 2 - WELLHOUSE PROJECT
INVITATION TO BID
The City of West Richland will receive sealed bids for the WELL NO. 3 IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 2 - WELLHOUSE PROJECT at the Municipal Services Facility, 3100 Belmont Blvd, West Richland, Washington, 99353 until Wednesday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m.
The project provides for the construction of a new wellhouse for municipal drinking water, an air stripping tower and blower for water treatment, and demolition of the existing wellhouse. The new wellhouse is a CMU building with a generator, HVAC, onsite sodium hypochlorite generation equipment, well pump, booster pump, piping, site improvements including grading, paving, and block wall, PRV stations, appurtenances and other work in accordance with these Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, Technical Specifications and the Standard Specifications.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in surety bond, cash, certified check, or cashier’s check, surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of West Richland.

Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of West Richland will be accepted. The City of West Richland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, to accept any bid deemed to be responsive in the best interest of the City of West Richland and reserves the right to re-advertise for new proposals.
This project is funded/partially funded through the Washington State Public Works Board (PWB) program with state funds. PWB requirements and provisions must be met by the general contractor and all subcontractors.
All work performed on this project will be subject to the state prevailing wage rates.
