Request for Proposals: Professional Services for Rattlesnake Creek Streamflow Improvements Design

Trout Unlimited is seeking proposals from qualified contractors (e.g., licensed hydrogeologist and engineer) to complete the conceptual and preliminary evaluation and design phase of a streamflow improvement project on Rattlesnake Creek (Naches River tributary) in the Yakima Basin. The completed initial phase will then be used for a design-build second phase.

Project activities are expected to include an evaluation of water availability (e.g., groundwater), alternatives development and evaluation, designs, and other activities as necessary. Project funding is from the Salmon Recovery Funding Board through the Washington Recreation and Conservation Office ("RCO")and any work completed must meet the January 2025 requirements outlined in the RCO's Manual 18.  

Project activities are expected to begin in June 2025 and conclude in mid-2026. Trout Unlimited will provide project management support and complete a detailed cultural resources assessment and water rights assessment separately.
