Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2025 Port-Wide Paving Improvements located in Whatcom County, Washington will be received at the Administrative Offices of the Port of Bellingham, 1801 Roeder Avenue, Bellingham, Washington until 2:00 p.m.,Tuesday, May 20, 2025.  The official time shall be taken from the designated clock at the Administrative Offices.  Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Bids will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud.

The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project identified above including the following major work items:

The project includes protection of surrounding areas; prevention of contamination of adjacent marine waters; preparation for sealcoat, painting, crack seal, and pavement repair of surfaces; cleanup; and all other work included in the Bid Item Description and this solicitation.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for prospective bidders will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Port of Bellingham’s Administrative Offices located at 1801 Roeder Avenue, Bellingham, Washington 98225. The work sites for Bid Schedules 2, 3, 4, and 12 are located within a secure area that is not open to the public. An opportunity to inspect the area at this facility will be given at the Pre-Bid Meeting, and no other access to this area will be granted outside of this time prior to contract execution. The sites for all other Schedules of Work are generally open to the public, and prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect them at their own convenience provided their presence does not interrupt Port or tenant operations.

Engineers estimate: $210,594.00.

check, money order, or an original signed and stamped surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Port of Bellingham.

Any and all questions related to this project must be submitted via email prior to 5:00 PM, local time, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.  No questions will be accepted after that time.

The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities.
