Lake Stevens School District No. 4 Highland Elementary Flooring Replacement
You are invited to bid on a Lump Sum General Contract for the Highland Elementary Flooring Replacement
Project.
Lake Stevens School District will receive Bids until 2:00 pm on the 29th day of May at the District’s
Educational Services Center, 12309 22nd Street NE, Lake Stevens, Washington 98258. Bids will then be
opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after the stated time and date may not be considered.
All Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the Bidder’s name, address, the name of the project and
the deadline date and time appearing on the OUTSIDE of the envelope. It is the sole responsibility of the
Bidders to see that their Bids are delivered by the designated time. No responsibility will be taken by the
District for wrong delivery by any Bidder, for delays in the US Mail or delivery services, or internal district
mail, or for misaddressed or misrouted Bids.
Each Bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check made payable to Lake
Stevens School District No. 4 in an amount of not less than five percent of Bidder's Basic Bid.
Bidders may obtain drawings and specification sets from Bill’s Blueprints in Everett (425-259-0859,
www.billsblue.com).
The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the
right to waive any irregularities in any Bid.
No Bid may be withdrawn, except with the express permission of the Owner, after the hour set for the opening
thereof, unless the award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days.
Bidders' attention is directed to State and Federal laws concerning wages, working hours and other conditions
of employment and all requirements for public works construction. Contract is subject to Washington State
L&I Prevailing Wage Rates effective on the Bid date.
