Water Treatment Plant – Metal-over-Metal Mechanically Seamed Roof Installation

1. REQUEST FOR BIDS

The Town of Cusick, Washington is requesting bids from qualified contractors for installation of a new Metal-over-Metal Mechanically Seamed Roof at the Town of Cusick’s Water Treatment Facility located at 2413 Black Road, Usk, Washington, as per specifications provided.

1. 1. Description of Work – The work covered under this section includes the furnishing and installation of approximately 1600 square feet of mechanically seamed metal roofing, necessary Roof-Hugger supports, underlayment and accessories necessary for a complete waterproof metal roof over the existing metal roof.  It also includes necessary fasteners and trim as need to transition to existing storm gutters. Roofing panels, clips, closures, and other accessories shall be standard products of the same manufacturer.

1. 2. Instructions to Bidders – Bids for construction of the Project will be received by the Owner via online submission only, until 11:00 AM, Thursday June 12, 2025 local time. Bids will be opened and read aloud virtually via the following link:

A bid summary will be issued after opening, emailed to all bidders and posted on the website.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

            The BIDDING DOCUMENTS may be examined at the Issuing Office:

                        1.          Varela Engineering & Management, 601 W. Mallon Ave., Suite A, Spokane, WA 99201.  Visit www.varelaplanroom.com under “Public Jobs”. Prospective bidders may view digital files at no cost.

2.         To Bid the project, Bidder shall download a full set of the BIDDING DOCUMENTS from www.varelaplanroom.com under “Public Jobs” and shall be on the Plan Holders List. Bids shall be submitted electronically via the Varela Plan Room website and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Additional bid acceptance and contract award provisions are specified in the Contract Documents. Town of Cusick, WA retains the right to reject any and all bids.

1. 4. Rejected Bids – Any bids not received by the deadline or not submitted properly will be rejected and returned to the bidder unopened.

1. 5. Notification and Award – Proposals will be evaluated, successful bidder notified, followed with a recommendation to go forward to the full Town Council for project award.   The award process is trigger and contingent upon the mayor’s signature of Contract Agreement.
