NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:
Lookout Mountain LM 2000 Road Repairs –
Sites 1 & 2 at Lookout Mountain Forest Preserve
Bellingham, Washington
UNTIL: 2:30 PM, Tuesday, July 1, 2025
At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened (live/virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested people are invited to be present at the live bid opening via Zoom, as more completely described herein. Late submittals will not be considered.
Whatcom County Parks & Recreation is requesting bids for the Lookout Mountain LM 2000 Road Repairs – Sites 1 & 2 project at Lookout Mountain Forest Preserve, located at 2537 Lake Louise Road, Bellingham, WA. The contractor will provide all materials and labor necessary to repair the road, legally dispose of all waste material, leave the site in a condition suitable for vehicular traffic, and other work as further described in the bid documents.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities. Whatcom County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned firms to respond.
Whatcom County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d‐4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. As required by law, the E‐Verify System may be required.
A pre‐bid walk‐through is scheduled for 10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 24, 2025 (day corrected in Addendum 1), onsite. Interested parties must preregister for the walk‐through. See page 3, Supplemental Instructions to Bidders, for more information.
