Invitation to Bid – Wenatchee Valley Fire Station #17 Renovations, Malaga WA
1.1 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
A. Sealed bids will be received by the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department at Fire Station #10, 731 N. Wenatchee Avenue, Wenatchee, Washington, for the construction of Station 17 Renovation in Malaga, Washington.
B. Time limits for receipt of proposals are as follows:
- Section 00 41 00 - Price Proposal must be received by 10:00 AM, July 31, 2025.
- Section 00 41 10 - Subcontractor's Listing A must be received not later than one hour after the Price Proposal time limit.
- Section 00 41 20 - Subcontractor's Listing B must be received not later than forty-eight hours after the Price Proposal time limit.
- Bids received after this time will not be considered.

1.2 SCOPE OF WORK
A. The project includes renovation in areas of the 11,292 square foot building including: demolition and reconstruction of restrooms, replacement of deteriorated concrete walks, roof restoration system, replacement of exterior doors, interior alterations, wood doors, windows, cabinets, suspended ceiling systems, flooring, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and additional work as shown on drawings.
1.3 PRE-BID TOURS
A. Two pre-bid tours will be conducted. Dates for the tours are as follows:
- July 8, 2025, 10:00 AM in Station 17 meeting room.
- July 22, 2025, 10:00 AM in Station 17 meeting room.
B. Attendance by prospectibe bidders and major sub-bidders is strongly encouraged.
1.4 CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
A. Bidding Documents, including Instructions to Bidders, Form of Agreement, General Requirements, Drawings and Specifications entitled Wenatchee Valley Fire Department Station 17 Renovation are available in Portable Document Format (PDF) and may be requested from the Architect. Documents may also be examined at various construction councils and builder association plan centers, a list of which is available from the office of the Architect.

B. Prime Bidders, Mechanical, and Electrical sub-bidders who are bidding without procuring plans from the Architect are encouraged to provide contact information to the architect for inclusion in the bidder list and electronic notifications.
1.5 PREVAILING WAGE
A. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Chelan County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The "Effective Date" for this project is the Bid Proposal due date above. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor and Industries website located at:

1.6 BID OPENING
A. Bids will be opened and read publicly (aloud) by the Owner's representative immediately following the hour set above.
B. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularites or informalities, without cause.
