Construct West Duwamish Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Control Facility and West Duwamish Interceptor Diversion Structure, modify existing Terminal 115 Overflow Structureand make improvements to existing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control (I&C) systems to existing West Michigan Street Regulator Station.
Apprenticeship Requirements: 15% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement.
Master Community Workforce Agreement (MCWA): King County reviewed this Project and determined that a MCWA will apply, due to the nature of the work and the estimated labor costs
Priority Hire Apprentice Utilization Requirement: 27% of the total Apprentice Labor Hours worked during the contract.
Priority Hire Journey Level Requirement: 18% of the total Journey Labor Hours worked during the contract.
In accordance with EPA’s policy on the utilization of socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and disadvantaged business enterprises in procurement, the Contractor shall make Good Faith Efforts as required in 40 CFR 33 Part C to ensure to the fullest extent possible that it subcontracts the MBE and WBE Goals of:
Minority Business Enterprise (MBE): 10% of the Contract Price
Women Business Enterprise (WBE): 6% of the Contract Price
Contractor will be required to comply with all federal requirements including Davis Bacon (Federal) Wage Rates, Build America, Buy America and American Iron and Steel
