King County Energize is launching a new program, the Multifamily Homes Program.  Elevate will administering the work and is actively seeking qualified contractors to do work.  This is a $50mm project with work taking place between Spring 2026 - 2029 and serving King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties! This program is designed to electrify and weatherize 500-750 affordable multifamily housing units (~50 buildings) and grow the local workforce.

We are seeking qualified contractors to join the Approved Contractor Roster and complete installations with this program. The program will seek contractors able to perform one or more of the following trades:? 

• HVAC, with ability to install air source heat pumps (ASHPs)? 

• Electrical? 

• Plumbing, with ability to install heat pump water heaters (HPWH)? 

• Weatherization/building envelope/insulation? 

• Solar electric? 

• Household hazard remediation including mold, asbestos, lead? 

• General carpentry and repair work?
