This contract requires constructing an eastbound acceleration lane consisting of removal and excavation of existing paved shoulders, grading, crushed surfacing base course, planing bituminous pavement, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, illumination system removal and upgrade, storm sewer system, traffic island, erosion control, removal and installation of beam guardrail and high tension cable barrier, extruded curb, signing, pavement markings and delineation, traffic control and other work. Involves 65 items and 55 working days. Work class 4, asphalt concrete paving.
