Florence Street Sewer Project

BID OPENING:                  March 1, 2018                                     TIME: 10:00 a.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids proposals for construction of the Florence Street Sewer Project will be received at the City of Enumclaw Public Works Office, 1309 Myrtle Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022 until 10:00 a.m. on March 1, 2018. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Enumclaw of value not less than 5% of the total amount bid. Bid proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered.

Schedule A - The Project proposes to: Extend 600 linear feet of sewer main and decommission the lift station at Florence Street and Kibler Avenue. The Work shall begin on and be substantially complete by May 25, 2018.

Schedule B - Gas Excavation Description: 906 linear feet of trench excavation, bedding, and backfill for gas line installation from Loraine Street to Harding Street. The City of Enumclaw will install the gas main and service piping.

The Contract Documents for the above project may be examined at the Owner’s office at 1309 Myrtle Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022 on working days, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Owner may be reached by phone at 360-825-3593 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Written questions regarding the project may be directed to Scott Woodbury at swoodbury@ci.enumclaw.wa.us. No response will be made to questions unless they are submitted in writing. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on “Posted Projects”, “Public Works”, and “City of Enumclaw”. Bidders must “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self- Registered Bidders List”.
