Description of Work: The Project consists of the renovation of a shop’s education facility and an entry addition for use by Olympic College with associated site work. The scope includes an extensive full building remodel of the existing concrete structure including all systems and the building envelope. A portion of the existing structure will be removed infilled with new steel construction. The finished building will include shops, classrooms, administrative and support spaces. New mechanical, plumbing, compressed air, life safety, lighting, low voltage, and photo voltaic systems are included. Demolition, geotechnical and hazardous materials abatement is required. The construction extents will be limited to the area adjacent to the building and a remote lay-down area. Existing utilities and services are available on site. Utility and site work is required outside the designated construction area and will be coordinated with the owner. New paving, utilities, walkways, and site amenities are required around the building and within the adjacent right of way. Pedestrian pathways to the building will be improved and landscaping added.

Subcontractor/supplier opportunities include (but not limited to): Demolition and abatement, site work, utilities, reinforcing steel/concrete, steel, millwork, roofing, finishes, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical.

This project has prevailing wage rate requirements.
