INVITATION TO BID City of Enumclaw 1309 Myrtle Avenue Enumclaw, WA 98022 Zone 1040 Expansion Project 2102

BID OPENING: February 3, 2021 TIME: 11:00 a.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for construction of the Zone 1040 Expansion Project will be received at the City of Enumclaw at 1309 Myrtle Avenue, Enumclaw, Washington 98022 until 11:00 a.m. on February 3, 2021. Bids will be opened, read, and tabulated immediately following. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bond, payable to the City of Enumclaw of not less than 5% of the total bid.

The scope of improvements includes a new masonry block booster pump station, site work, propane generator, fencing, asphalt pulverizing and paving, decommissioning an existing booster station and underground tank, individual residential pressure reducing valves, and other appurtenances.

Because access to the booster station site is through a private gate that is normally locked, a nonmandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., on January 27, 2021 at the site. The site will not otherwise be open for access Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Enumclaw". Bidders must “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List".

Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda. Written questions regarding the project may be directed to the Project Engineer, Scott Woodbury P.E., at swoodbury@ci.enumclaw.wa.us. No response will be made to questions unless they are submitted in writing.
