The City of Pateros, Washington (Owner) is requesting Bids for the work described below. Bids for construction of the Project will be received by the Owner via electronic submission only, until 1:30 PM, July 9, 2024 local time. Bids will be opened and read aloud virtually via the following link:

This project will provide street facility improvements, including the following:

The Project includes construction of the City of Pateros Pedestrian Improvements and Commercial Avenue Multimodal Improvements. Major elements of work generally include: asphalt pavement removal, new curb and gutter, new sidewalk and pedestrian curb, ADA curb ramps, crosswalks, asphalt patching, minor stormwater improvements, street lighting and associated electrical, as well as aesthetical and landscaping upgrades, and associated work.

To Bid the project, Bidder shall register and be on the Plan Holders List. After registering, Bidder shall download and print a full set of the BIDDING DOCUMENTS from www.varelaplanroom.com under “Public Jobs”. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Additional bid acceptance and contract award provisions are specified in the Contract Documents.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Pateros.

The project is being funded by Transportation Improvement Board funds P-E-883(P05)-1 and P-E-883 (001)-1.
