Town of Concrete - Bridge Load Rating

TOWN OF CONCRETE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS BRIDGE LOAD RATING

The Town of Concrete is soliciting statement proposals from qualified firms or consultants to provide load rating for 1 in-service bridge including the National Rating Load (NRL) required by FHWA and as identified in the WSDOT Bridge Design Manual. Scope of Services: Structural bridge load rating in compliance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) outlined in Title 23 CFR 650 Subpart C and as defined by AASHTO Section 313(k).

Load rating to be completed in accordance with the WSDOT Bridge Design Manual (BDM) and Washington State Bridge Inspection Manual (WSBIM). As-builts, photos and previous load rating and inspection documentation is available upon request. The experience of the firm or consultant with similar types of projects will be a consideration in the selection of the consultant. The professional credentials of the firm or consultant will also be a major determinant in the selection process, along with a demonstrated understanding of the town’s needs. Proposals should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straightforward, concise description of the provider’s capabilities to satisfy the requirements of the request.
