Plumbing and Float Repair Project No. 2026-598
Bid Due Date: Bids for this project will be received at the Port of Edmonds Administration Office, 471 Admiral Way, Edmonds, WA 98020 OR emailed to floats@portofedmonds.gov until 10:00 AM, April 21, 2026. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Official time is read from the designated official clock at the Port of Edmonds Administration office
Scope of Work: providing labor, materials, and equipment necessary to inspect, service, repair floats, finger pier rods, walers, HDPE pipe repairs, and installation of new water services, and other repairs on plumbing as requested. This is a unit price contract good for 3 years, with one additional year extension possible.
Pre-Bid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on April 10, 2026, at 471 Admiral Way, Edmonds WA 98020 for a tour of Port facilities for familiarization. Port staff and its agents may not be available for site visits outside of the scheduled pre-bid meeting. Attendance is not required.
Work Start & Completion Dates: Work requests will be issued as needed after the contract is awarded. Work may begin when the Port receives the signed contract, bond waiver, insurance documentation, IRS W-9, and list of any subcontractors if applicable. It is the Port’s intent to establish a unit price, as needed contract for these services for a three (3) year period, with the option for one (1) additional year
Prevailing Wages: Payment of prevailing wages is required for this project. Filings of statement of intent, and affidavit of wages paid online with LNI will be required for each work request.
Insurance: Commercial General Liability, Business Auto, Worker’s Comp, and Employer’s Liability (Stop Gap) insurance coverage will be required for this project. USL&H as needed per specific job request on a case-by-case basis as specifically required by the United States longshoreman's and harbor worker's compensation act for work over water. https://www.dol.gov/agencies/owcp/dlhwc/FAQ/lsfaqs
