Valley Transit is seeking proposals and pricing for a CPA to provide as-needed accounting and advisory services to support and advise our Finance Manager. The goal is to retain professional CPA services on an on-call basis to serve as a technical sounding board, including assisting with the interpretation and implementation of new or revised BARS and GASB requirements; reviewing and advising on Valley Transit’s internal accounting, financial, and related administrative policies and procedures; and providing targeted training or coding to Finance staff on applicable accounting standards, internal controls and best practices as requested.
