Request for Proposals (RFP) for Electronic Data Processing and Telecommunications Systems

General: University of Washington (University or Owner), through UW Facilities Project Delivery Group, is requesting Proposals from contractors interested in providing the design, specifications, fabrication, and installation of a Public Safety Distributed Antenna System (PS DAS). The University is utilizing the public works contracting procedure authorized under chapter 39.04.270 RCW, Electronic data processing and telecommunications systems – Municipalities – Acquisition method – Competitive negotiation. Pursuant to the statute, the proposal shall include a price for the design, permitting, the specifications, the fabrication, and the installation of the DAS antenna system.

Project Description: This project will improve public safety in the Central Plaza Garage on the UW Campus through improved communications for first responders and UW Operations. The target budget for all work to be provided under the contract is $1,200,000.
